How Qynnex Came to Be
Qynnex was founded in Kuala Lumpur by a small group of data scientists and software engineers who had spent years working inside large organisations. They saw firsthand how valuable artificial intelligence could be — and how often it was adopted hastily, without the care and context it needed to succeed.
Rather than building another technology vendor that pushed ready-made products off the shelf, they chose a different path. Qynnex would be a company that began every engagement by listening. Understanding the client's data landscape, their team's comfort level with technology, and their genuine business goals would always come before writing a single line of code.
Today, we serve mid-size and large organisations across Malaysia, spanning industries from finance and logistics to healthcare administration and professional services. Our team has grown, but the philosophy remains the same: meaningful AI adoption is something you build with people, not something you impose on them.
We are proud to be based in Kuala Lumpur, a city whose energy and diversity continue to inspire us. Our office at Jalan Ampang Hilir sits at the heart of a thriving business community, and we draw much of our purpose from the organisations we work alongside here.
